These Kimbanda statues are extremely rare representations of some of the most important Exus in the sorcery tradition of Kimbanda/ Quimbanda. They are extra large in size for the serious practitioner and devotee and exquisitely formed. They embody the most aggressive and "hot" aspects of these spirits and serious consideration should be given to ones relationship with these entities before one commits to purchase as they are all consecrated during a seven day ceremony and the spirit of each Exu is called to inhabit the physical statue itself. They form and contain a direct connection to the spirits that they represent and can also be used by those practitioners who are outside the formal initiatory circles of Quimbanda who work with the tradition but simply have no access to other sorcery groups and participants. Serious study of Kimbanda, Exu and the Pomba Gira must be undertaken and they must be provided with a separate, consecrated ritual and devotional space dedicated exclusively to the Kingdom of Exu as the entities from this lineage cannot share sacred spaces with spirits or deities from foreign systems or pantheons. Exu Lucifer is one of the three most important aspects of Exu and is an integral part of the highest triumvirate within the infernal and Satanic Lines of Kuimbanda, where he together with Exu Belzebub (Exu Mor) and Exu Rei Sete Encruzilhada (Astaroth) constitutes the infernal archytypical trinity comprising the totality of Exu Rei the Maioral. The overwhelming power of this feared Exu is captured in his form which represents Lucifer and Satan, the original son of the Morning star and fallen angel. Within the darkest lines of Kuimbanda the Sorcerous powers of this Exu are known to be overarching and nearly limitless. Exu Lucifer is the lord of all black magic and as such represents the sum of all evil, but in a promethean sense of refined high knowledge of the black arts and infernal devotions.
